V&A East Museum

Scope of works

We delivered the complete tenant design and installation for the V&A East Museum, combining specialist lighting, bespoke power infrastructure, and full building systems integration to meet the demands of a world-class cultural institution.

Lighting Design

• Full lighting design delivered in partnership with trusted supplier Zumtobel
• Achieved six-figure value engineering savings without compromising design intent or quality

Small Power Systems

• Design and installation of a complete small power system throughout the museum
• Custom, bespoke mechanical and electrical floor boxes engineered to sustain high kilonewton payloads
• Floor boxes built to withstand frequent movement of MEWPs and heavy museum exhibits

Infrastructure & Distribution

• Full structured cabling installation delivered alongside supply chain partners
• Design and installation of the tenant's LV distribution system

Life Safety & Security

• Installation of fire detection and alarm systems throughout the tenant space
• Full access control system installation
• Installation of CCTV systems to support site security

Event Space Systems

• Dedicated lighting and power infrastructure designed for flexible event space use

Outcome
